Welcome to Milo. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Z-Rex Network (“we,” “us”) for use of the Milo mobile app and related servers (the “Service”). By registering, signing in, or creating or uploading user-generated content, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Child Safety Standards. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service
Milo is a text-focused social letter-writing app. Features may include:
- Drifting letters — spend virtual stamps to send letters that may be delivered to other users after a delay;
- Mailbox & conversations — receive, unlock, read, and reply; some replies are delayed until you become pen pals;
- Optional routing — spend extra stamps to bias delivery by preferences such as gender, birth decade, or zodiac (not a guarantee of a match);
- Directed letters — where the product allows, send to a specific user;
- Pen pals — after mutual interest (typically after enough replies), apply to become pen pals and, if accepted, reveal more of your real profile;
- Overlap / extra messages — additional paid-with-stamps interactions where shown in the product;
- Optional AI fallback — if you opt in on a letter and no human replies in time, an “AI Drifter” may reply (labeled; cannot become a pen pal);
- Virtual stamps — earned via check-in, rewarded ads, or other in-app grants; used to send letters and related actions.
We may change features, limits, delivery timing, and stamp economics for operations, safety, or legal reasons. We will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means when appropriate.
2. Eligibility (age 16+)
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. Persons under 16 are prohibited.
- By registering or continuing, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Providing false age information is a material breach.
- Milo is not directed to children and is not enrolled in Google Play’s Designed for Families program.
- If we learn a user is under 16, we may disable the account and delete or anonymize personal data without prior notice.
3. Accounts and acceptance of policies
- Sign-in is primarily via email verification code or Google account. Keep access to your email / Google account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused solely by our breach.
- One natural person per account. Do not sell, rent, share, or automate mass registration of accounts.
- Before creating UGC (letters, replies, messages), you must accept these Terms and related policies (presented at sign-in and available in the app and on this site). Continued posting after updates constitutes acceptance of the then-current Terms.
- Complete profile onboarding (nickname, avatar, and related fields) when required before certain features unlock.
4. Virtual identities and pen pals
- Before pen pals, interactions usually use a virtual identity (nickname and preset avatar). Your registration email is not shown to others as part of normal letter delivery.
- Pen-pal status requires a request and acceptance. After acceptance, each party may see profile information the other makes available under product rules.
- Visibility settings (e.g., whether pen-pal count is public to pen pals) can be changed in the app. You cannot force the other party to forget information they already received lawfully.
- You may block users, archive content, or report safety concerns as described in the Community Guidelines.
5. User content and conduct
You are solely responsible for content you create. You must follow our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms. Without limiting those Guidelines, you agree not to:
- Violate law or others’ rights (privacy, IP, publicity);
- Post sexual content involving minors, CSAM, grooming, exploitation, or any child endangerment content (zero tolerance—see Child Safety Standards);
- Harass, threaten, hate, defraud, impersonate, or spam;
- Share others’ sensitive personal data without authorization;
- Attempt to bypass moderation, anonymity, stamp systems, or rate limits;
- Scrape, attack, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by mandatory law.
5.1 Moderation and enforcement
To comply with Google Play’s User-Generated Content policy and keep users safe, we moderate UGC on an ongoing basis, including:
- Automated sensitive-word filtering and third-party text moderation;
- In-app reporting, blocking, and archival tools;
- Human review via our admin / safety workflows where needed.
We may refuse, delay, remove, or silently reject content; refund or withhold stamps according to product rules (e.g., salvageable mild violations may refund stamps and allow revision; severe malicious content may be rejected silently without refund or notice); restrict features; or suspend or terminate accounts. We may preserve evidence and report to authorities when required.
6. Virtual stamps and ads
- Stamps are virtual items with no cash value, not redeemable for money, and not tradable between users unless we expressly say otherwise in writing.
- You may earn stamps through daily check-in, optional Google AdMob rewarded videos, new-user grants, and other mechanics shown in the app. There is currently no real-money in-app purchase of stamps.
- Stopping a drifting letter or severe moderation outcomes may consume stamps without refund where the product so states.
- Ad viewing is optional. Ads are subject to Google’s terms and our Privacy Policy.
- We may change stamp economy. Except where law requires otherwise, we are not liable for loss of virtual items due to maintenance, enforcement, or policy changes.
7. Intellectual property
The Service software, design, trademarks, logos, preset avatars, stamp artwork, and similar materials (excluding your UGC) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or commercially exploit them without written permission.
You retain rights in your original content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, moderate, display, and technically process that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to meet legal obligations.
8. Third-party services
The Service may rely on Google (Sign-In, AdMob), email delivery (Resend), and AI/moderation APIs. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages or independent data practices beyond our instructions to them as processors or as disclosed.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation, or that matching/delivery preferences will be satisfied.
- Interactions with other users are at your own risk. We are not a party to offline meetings or disputes between users and do not guarantee the identity or intentions of other users.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us directly in the prior twelve months for the Service, if any, or (b) USD $15 (or local equivalent). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
10. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via the app or delete-account page (see Privacy Policy for anonymization details).
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity. We may also discontinue the Service with reasonable notice when practicable.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes may be communicated in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are not governed by any single country's law. We operate Milo as a global service distributed through Google Play and comply with laws applicable to us in the jurisdictions where we operate. Disputes should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, either party may seek resolution before a court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer protection or data protection rights you hold under the laws of your country of residence.
